Mile 54 Fine Art Studio ("Mile 54") - privacy and use of personal information, artistic credit

1. Mile 54 will never post a customer's personal or identifying information on our website, unless the customer has specifically requested in writing that it be included with their artwork or photograph.

 

2. Mile 54 will never distribute or share a customer's contact information with a third party without written permission from that customer.

3. Mile 54 will not add a customer's contact information to any Mile 54 correspondence list without explicit permission, and we will immediately delete it from any such list upon written request.

4. Mile 54 will give artistic credit to the original photographer for any professional photos submitted for the purpose of creating a work of art. If the professional photographer does not wish to have their original, credited, photograph posted on our website we will remove it at their request.

5. Mile 54 will not use the photographs submitted by our customers for any project other than the one they requested, unless specific written consent is given by the customer for this new purpose.

6. The Mile 54 artist working on a given project may include a photo of the completed artwork in their personal portfolio, but may not include any personal information, or sell, distribute, & use the photo for other purposes unless written permission is granted by the customer.

The Mile 54 Customer - permission for use of photographs and completed works

​

1. You, the Mile 54 customer, are stating that you own, or have permission to use, the photograph/s you are submitting for this artistic purpose. You agree to give Mile 54 permission to use the photo or photos you have submitted for the purpose of creating a unique work of art as outlined in the estimate and/or any change orders or agreements about the requested project.

 

2. If a photograph contains images of a minor or minors, you are taking responsibility on behalf of their parent/guardian for using these images for this artistic purpose with the understanding that no personal information will be posted about the minor subject.

3. You agree to allow Mile 54 to post a photo of the completed artwork on our website or social media, and to use it for promotional purposes, with the understanding that no personal information will be posted with these photos. If you do not wish for a photograph to be used in these ways, please inform us in writing.

4. You agree to allow Mile 54 to post the original photo/s you submit for your project on our website and social media, or for promotional purposes, (most often along with a photo of the completed artwork), with the understanding that no personal information will be posted with these photos. If you do not wish for your photograph to be used in this way, please inform us in writing. 

​

5. You, the customer, are responsible for providing photographer information for any professional photographs submitted for your requested project, to enable Mile 54 to give proper artistic credit if this original photograph is posted on our website. If the professional photographer does not wish to have their original, credited photograph posted on our website we will remove it at their request.

6. Any project requested, agreed upon, and then not purchased becomes the property of Mile 54 to use for promotional purposes and/or for individual sale. The customer is not entitled to any portion of the resulting sale.
